1. Introduction

RobotBulls is an open-source, decentralised software protocol that enables developers to publish algorithmic trading strategies (“robots”) and enables users to execute such strategies directly from their own wallets.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to anyone who accesses, uses, or interacts with the RobotBulls protocol, its smart contracts, or community governance systems. By interacting with RobotBulls, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of the Protocol

RobotBulls is software only.

RobotBulls does not:

  • Provide investment advice.
  • Provide portfolio management or brokerage services.
  • Act as a custodian of funds or assets.
  • Guarantee performance or outcomes of any trading strategy.

The protocol is decentralised, open-source, and may be freely used, copied, or forked by anyone.

3. User Responsibilities

You remain in full control of your private keys, wallets, and funds.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Evaluating any robot or strategy before use.
  • Managing risks associated with trading or deploying capital.
  • Complying with local laws, regulations, and tax obligations in your jurisdiction.

By using RobotBulls, you confirm that you are legally permitted to access and use decentralised protocols under the laws applicable to you.

4. No Warranties

RobotBulls is provided “as is” and “as available.”

No warranties or guarantees of any kind are offered, whether express or implied, including:

  • Fitness for purpose.
  • Accuracy or reliability.
  • Non-infringement.

Use of the protocol is entirely at your own risk.

5. Risks

By using RobotBulls, you understand and accept the following risks (non-exhaustive):

  • Smart contract risk — vulnerabilities, exploits, or bugs may lead to loss of funds.
  • Market risk — trading strategies may result in losses due to volatility.
  • Blockchain risk — network congestion, forks, or failures may impact execution.
  • Regulatory risk — laws governing digital assets vary and may change.
  • Operational risk — reliance on third-party front-ends or infrastructure may create points of failure.

6. Governance and Community

RobotBulls governance is community-driven through the RobotBulls DAO.

Proposals and votes are made using governance tokens.

The DAO is not a legal entity and does not provide financial services; it is a decentralised coordination mechanism.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • No contributor, developer, or DAO participant shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the protocol.
  • You bear full responsibility for your use of the software and any outcomes thereof.

8. Third-Party Interfaces

Independent developers and communities may provide websites, applications, or user interfaces that connect to RobotBulls.

Such third-party services are not controlled by RobotBulls contributors.

You must review and agree to any terms and policies provided by those third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

The RobotBulls protocol code is licensed under the MIT License.

Documentation is licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0.

You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code under the terms of these licences.

10. Termination

Because RobotBulls is decentralised software, there is no central authority that can suspend or terminate your access. You may cease using the protocol at any time by discontinuing interaction with its smart contracts.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are published for informational purposes only. As RobotBulls is not operated by a centralised entity, no single governing law applies. Your use of the protocol may be subject to the laws of your own jurisdiction, and it is your responsibility to comply with them.

12. Updates to These Terms

These Terms may evolve through community governance. Updates will be proposed and voted on through the RobotBulls DAO and published in the official repositories.
